Questions people ask
Is SentenSearch free?
Yes. Searching, quizzes, saving sentences and the leaderboard are free. Free accounts see the first three sentences of each search and get a limited number of AI uses; Pro removes both limits.
Do I need an account?
No sign-up, no email, no password. The app creates an anonymous account for you. A username is only needed if you want to appear on the leaderboard.
Which languages are supported?
Sentences are in English; translations and the interface are available in 15 languages: Arabic, Chinese (Hong Kong), English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Ukrainian.
What does the AI do with what I type?
The word you are learning is sent to OpenAI to generate an explanation or an example sentence, and the result is shown to you. We do not send your username or contact details along with it. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel there. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the renewal date stops the next charge.
Is it available on Android?
Not yet. SentenSearch is an iPhone app and needs iOS 15 or later.
